Baykuss is an independent game studio operated by a solo developer based in Türkiye. In this policy, “Baykuss,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website and the Baykuss games made available through it.

Information we may handle

Depending on how you use the website, the following information may be processed:

• Contact information: your email address, name, and anything you include when you contact us.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, screen size, time zone, referring page, access times, and basic security or error logs.
• Portfolio analytics: an anonymous ID created only in page memory, pages viewed, games launched, play start and end times, heartbeat events, and estimated page and game session duration.
• Game information: gameplay events, progress, settings, scores, session information, and interactions needed for a game to function.
• Storage information: cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies used by a game to remember progress, preferences, or technical state.

Baykuss does not require you to create an account to browse this portfolio or play the games shown here.

How information is collected

Information may be provided directly by you when you send an email, collected automatically by the website’s hosting and security systems, recorded by the first-party portfolio tracker, or created when a game saves progress and settings in your browser. A game may begin processing game-specific technical information after you choose to launch it.

The portfolio tracker runs without a consent popup. It does not set a tracking cookie or save its anonymous session ID in local or session storage. The ID exists only in page memory and is replaced when the page is reloaded. The tracker does not send events when the browser’s Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is enabled.

Why we use information

We may use information to:

• deliver the website and games, remember settings, and maintain game functionality;
• respond to publishing, licensing, support, or other messages;
• protect the website, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve performance;
• understand general game performance and improve the player experience; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations and protect our rights.

We process the limited first-party portfolio analytics described above for our legitimate interests in understanding game interest, measuring performance, and improving the portfolio. Other processing may be necessary to provide a service you requested, meet a legal obligation, or protect and secure the website. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular technology or purpose, that processing will not be activated without the required choice.

Games and third-party services

The portfolio pages do not require a Baykuss account. Individual game builds may contain third-party technology for hosting, distribution, analytics, advertising, content delivery, or platform compatibility. These services may process technical, device, gameplay, or advertising information under their own privacy policies when active.

Third-party services operate under their own terms. If a Baykuss game is played on another publisher or platform, that publisher’s privacy policy also applies. Baykuss does not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

The Baykuss portfolio tracker does not use cookies, local storage, or session storage to recognise visitors. The password-protected administrator area uses a strictly necessary session cookie only after the administrator signs in.

Individual games may use browser storage to save progress, sound preferences, language, or other gameplay settings. You can remove stored data through your browser settings. Blocking or clearing storage may reset progress or prevent some game features from working correctly.

Retention and security

Portfolio analytics records are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically. Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a business relationship, maintain necessary records, or resolve disputes. Technical logs are retained according to the relevant hosting or security provider’s settings. Game data stored locally remains on your device until the game or your browser removes it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s privacy

Baykuss does not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information through this website. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of online games and third-party services.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can prevent the portfolio tracker from sending events by enabling Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and submit a complaint to your local data protection authority.

International processing and changes

Website, email, hosting, and game service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
